Masih ada warga Malaysia yang berhati mulia di zaman ini. Aku kagum!
Hubby was late yesterday (very-very late) so I took the bus home to Segambut. Actually I have to take the bus to KL Sentral and switch to commuter to Segambut. Walked to the bus stop, just in time to catch the next bus. It was already quite packed when I rode the bus so I have to stand near the front door. The driver kept on fetching few more passengers at 3 more stops before we were packed like sardines.
And it all started when we were heading towards KL Sentral after Pusat Bandar Damansara. Just after we passed by the short tunnel, the engine suddenly stopped! Dead! Silent! No power at all! Can't even switched on the Hazard Signals. Goodness! It was still quite a distance to KL Sentral and we were stucked on a highway. The driver opened the door and asked all passengers to get off the bus without giving us any clue whatsoever whether to walk, wait for another replacement bus or ...... . Few of the passengers started to walk along the highway towards KL Sentral. Ya la.... nak tunggu situ pun tak tau berapa lama. I myself walked with them hoping that another replacement bus would come before we reached KL Sentral. Jauh tu kalau menapak! Mau terberanak wa kat situ. Haha! May be it was my/our lucky day, a few metres after walking, a Bas Kilang stopped. I did not know what happened but I saw all the other passengers in front of me got on the bus. Without wasting any time, I walked faster just incase the driver decided to start ahead without me. Hehe! Asked one of the passenger, he said it was heading towards KL Sentral. Pheww!!!! Lega siot. Just imagine, bayang KL Sentral pun tak nampak lagi time tu.
It was an Indian around late 20s-early 30s driver. He drove us right to the front door of KL Sentral without asking for any fare. Oh! So kind of him. And he was smiling all the time when people thanked him. I think not a single person get off the bus without thanking him few times. He was our saviour of the day. There were few who gave him some duit kopi for his kindness and all he said was " Takpe. Tak payah bayar. Tak payah bayar." with a smile fixed on his face. There was one kakak in front of me praised him by saying," Thank you! Terima Kasih! Awak memang seorang warga Malaysia yang baik. Terima kasih." He must have felt proud of himself. Just a few minutes of his time helping other people, he was praised and thanked by so many people. May he has a good fortune in his future for being kind to others. Buat baik di balas baik!
Thank you Mr Driver, once again from the bottom of my heart!
Oh ya! I was given a seat by a young lady on the commuter yesterday. Thank you! Maybe because I was wearing 'the uniform' yesterday. Hehe! Thank you to all kind Malaysian!
