Cerita rojak....

Datuk Lau Lee Chin

Congratulations to Uncle Lau on the Datukship. So looks like we have to call u guys Datuk and Datin after this. Ehehe….

Janda Baik

The neighbours from Bkt Subang organized a picnic at Janda Baik that day but since we planned to be in Kelate for the ‘makan besar’ that evening, we did not actually joined them but we made a quick stopover just to meet them. Sempat la makan minum dan Hani ‘Adalia sempat jugak berendam seketika. About 5 families were there. Majority are Kelantanese.

CNY punye celita

Headed back to Kelate from Janda Baik around 2pm. Alhamdulillah the journey was smooth. Managed to arrive at grandparents house at 8pm, just in time for ‘makan besar’.

On CNY day itself, we spent the whole day at grandpa’s house. Semua ada except for my Auntie’s family at Bangsar. They cud not make it this year coz my Uncle just underwent an operation a week before. Blood clog under the skull. But not to worry, he’s fine now.

The angpow giving ceremony this year was a bit kucar-kacir, not like the previous year. As a ‘mata duitan’ mummy (hehe…) I carried Humaira around collecting the angpow first then only I gave out my angpow. Hani ‘Adalia joined the angpow-collecting queue, with Cik Milin. Yes! We actually queued up to collect the angpows. And all my aunties and uncles and grandparents will sit in a big circle at the living room giving out the angpows. Like previous years, I already planned small notes for smaller kids, and bigger notes for bigger kids, but this year, my oh my! How time flies! I noticed that most of my cousins have grown up quite fast, I mean they are actually taller than me! End up I have to give all the big notes out and keep the smaller notes to myself. Huh! Hopefully I will be blessed more this year. Hehe…. Err… did I tell you I have to give to my sister and 1 of my Auntie as well? huhu…

On Leave

Went back to KL on Wednesday. I took leave until Thursday but continued till Friday due to some unfinished errand to take care (dealing with the government offices requires u to take leave, if you want to know). Alhamdulillah, all our plan for the holidays have been ticked off. And I am RM 625 richer thanks to the rebate for road tax. Hehe…..

Dua pupu

Tuan Muhammad Umar, born on Sunday 25th January 2009. My new dua pupu (his father and myself are cousin). Congratulations Hafiz and wife for the new baby boy.
